Blauboad

degree dissertation time! The two infamous Markuses (Markus Wagner and Markus Wipplinger) asked me to write some music for their stop motion project blaoboad, which is based on a poem by H.C. Artmann – read in a Viennese dialect. The film is a bizarre tale about a roundaboutowner, who collects women under his bedroom floor.

They were looking for some typical Viennese waltzes with an evil twist at the end to underline the morbid poem. For more information about the project, please visit their homepages..

A Quick Guide to New Routines

Another degree dissertation. This time Peter Mayer was in need of music to his stop motion project A Quick Guide to new Routines, in which he tries to find new approaches to creativity.

Since the whole project is animated with a child – like look, we decided to keep the music as simple and happy as possible. Be sure to check out this clip in full screen to get all the HD goodness…

Harmonicity

The genius behind this amazing homepage and the whole fifth corporate design also likes to do motion graphics from time-to-time. To fit this project i created a rocking piece of music with evil sound fx.

Addicted to

Addicted to is a web page dedicated to the fascination of mountaineering, especially backcountry skiing in Austria.  Since I love backcountry skiing myself, I really could get into this project and the taste of snow!

I tried to capture the spirit and magic of this beautiful sport with soft guitar drones and on-location sound fx. I also did the graphics for this one.
