This Audiofile requires HEADPHONES – it won’t work without them.
Starkey’s Cetera technology makes the hearing aid “invisible” to the brain. Cetera removes the barrier between sound and the brain’s ability to process signals. The Cetera technology is based on an innovative new algorithm- the complex mathematical formula that drives a hearing aid. Cetera’s algorithm can match the exact characteristics of the wearer’s ear. This customization removes the barrier that most hearing aids erect between the incoming sound waves and the data sent to the brain for processing.

this was very impressive!!! would be great to do some more.
yeah – i would love if some audio hardware manufacturers come up with some new product that imply this algorithm!
omg gr8 why the music industry dont use this algorithm it wud B gr8
sory mey bad english im not relly good at eng.
Great..! i like to look for another….
OMG OMG OMG OMG this is the perfect one so please please we need some more more more more
How can I get this sound??? Do you make things like this for people? Please get back to me. Thx.
Gaia
Hi Gaia!
I am sorry – we are not involved in the development of this algorithm. Since 2010 I try to find new Information on this topic – without any luck. As soon as I find something new, I will post it on this blog. Thanks.
Gaia, Matthias: I’m trying to record something like this, and at this moment the only way I find is using this sistem:
It’s called binaural recording. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_recording
You need esthereophonic mics for record this expperience.
But, for the virtual barber shop. They didn’t used any of this, they have some algorithms and machines to change some factors and get this effect.

Hi Joan!
Thanks for the info. Please keep us in the loop about your ongoing development! Maybe someday I can post a soundfile of yours ;)
There is next to *nothing* on the internet about this “technique” and the little info there is talks about “algorithms” and “hearing aids” – neither of which apply to listening to an MP3.
Wtf?
Where’s the info
